Great news!! I’m on my way to being financially independent and living the American dream. Ok, maybe not quite, but definitely the American dream part.
When I started writing and cooking for the blog a year ago, I didn’t think it was going to be anything more than me making it easier for my friends to have access to the dishes they wanted to replicate, after having tasted them in my home. I knew there is a way to make a living out of blogging, but with my lack of knowledge of programing, coding, classification and other terms I don’t understand, I thought it was completely out of reach.
I did have that little voice in my head, that said “if they did it, why can’t I“. Not, that I’m quite there yet.
Curiosity took me to the world-wide interwebs on the quest to find the path… come to find out, it’s more like a winding road. Months and months of reading, you-tubing, trying and testing, two websites later, close to 10 applications to google to allow google advertising, I finally did it!! Website was approved AND I made 79¢!!! I know, I know… it’s less than a dollar… but it’s the principal that counts. I am now a money-making food blogger.
How it works? You come to my page to view a recipe, I get paid about half a cent. You don’t even have to buy anything. Pretty sweet, huh?? So, please keep on comin’… maybe I can buy a cup of coffee soon.
